Key Performance Area

This is an employment equity position: preferably a black South African Male.
·         Defines and implements the Centre strategy, taking into account corporate and
       head office guidelines.
·         Manages a centre (sales, after sales and administrative functions), and  the
      associated sales territory, with accountability for the revenues and profits.
·         Conducts negotiations with the dealer network and service partners and concludes
      standard contracts in coordination with head office.
·         Negotiates region specific discount latitude with head office.
·         Approves customer discounts that go beyond the discount limits of sales executives
      and /or sales manager.
·         Represents  the centre interest at head office level.
·         Initiates countermeasures in the event of deviations from plan.

·         Ability to work well and maintain good customer relation under extreme conditions.
·         Must be able to make decisions and work independently though being a team
      player.
·         Must be able to work under pressure, produce results and meet deadlines

·         Strong negotiation skills with the ability to convince customers – appropriate
      assertiveness an selling skills.
·         Willing to travel extensively throughout the centre.
·         Willing to work overtime and on weekends as and when necessary

Skills Required
·         Relevant commercial qualification – minimum of a university degree or equivalent, a
      pre-requisite.
·         Proven track record in business/commercial environment at a senior level a pre-
      requisite.
·         Minimum 10 years experience in the commercial vehicle business and the
       associated sales environment.
·         Minimum of 5 years managerial experience.
·         Ability to negotiate and converse Senior level management.
·         Ability to present information professionally at top levels within importer and the
      organisation.
·         Knowledge, skills and attributes which enable cross cultural communication.
